I help creative agencies and innovation-led companies attract new customers, expand brand awareness, and build lasting relationships through the power of story.

As a communications strategist, publicist, and brand marketer, my superpowers are developing stories and ideas that take brands to new places, working collaboratively in dynamic, interdisciplinary team environments, and driving excellence in creative execution. I'm a champion of bold ideas—always—and creative approaches to storytelling that build brand awareness and strengthen reputation.

During my 15-year career spanning agency, in-house, and consulting roles, I’ve learned to lead with empathy and by influence—working up, down, and across organizational hierarchies, while building strong collaborations across product and engineering, business development, employer brand, and talent acquisition, among other teams.

My greatest passions are design, business, and technology—and sharing the stories that exist at the intersections and edges of those domains to help organizations achieve their goals and realize their brand's full potential.

My story.

Work experience is important, but life experience is what defines character—often a key ingredient to success on the job. Get to know me through my life story.

I grew up in a small farm town where my grandpa was the Chief of Police and the Mayor. As soon as I turned 16, I got a job as a janitor, inspiring a lifelong love of cleaning and organizing, a.k.a. OCD.

When I was 19, I went to Las Vegas and got married in a drive-thru wedding chapel. Surprisingly, it didn’t last…while I was there, I worked as a personal concierge to K-1 mix martial arts fighters.

I later moved to Portland, Oregon, where I went to college. I studied liberal arts in the evenings and spent my days managing a small stock brokerage. My mantra quickly became, “work hard, work hard.”

While attending university, I had a baby. The skills I learned as a janitor and concierge proved especially useful in my new role as a mom. Not a regular mom. A cool mom. And together we grew.

After college, I landed my first PR job at a small design company in Seattle, Washington. My work took me to NYC, London, and Paris, expanding my worldview while deepening my love of design.

Once I felt officially grown up, I indulged in a dream to own a miniature dachshund. While I somehow managed to juggle work, school, and a child, dog ownership proved a fun challenge. And then there were two.

After a few years working at a boutique PR agency above an amazing Mexican restaurant (read: trouble), I landed my dream job at the legendary design and innovation consultancy Teague.

At Teague I was surrounded by creative people from all over the world. I was inspired to travel, often on solo trips. From the Great Wall of China to Laguna de Apoyo in Nicaragua, the world opened to me.

But there’s no place quite like home. I currently live in Seattle right off Pier 70 with my two miniature dachshunds, just a few blocks from the Space Needle and the famous Pike Place Market.
